About Kathleen Steventon
Kathleen Steventon is a self-taught oil painter living in rural Colorado. Her love of all things wild, of all things fauna, as well as her spiritual connection to both, are reflected in her works. Kathleen uses a palette knife to create her images. Kathleen's spirituality allows her to embed animal energies onto and into her canvases. Those who are on a spiritual path, who may have several Spirit Animals that they connect with, often have interesting experiences with Kathleen's paintings, after they've purchased one and placed it in their homes. Spiritual or not, the deep connections that Kathleen's canvases have with animal spirits is self evident and beautiful. Her works are currently displayed in a gallery in her home town in Colorado.

Laurel, THANK YOU so much for your comments!! I love your story about the momma deer dropping off their fawns under your watch. I have no doubt they did just that! I few years ago we had a day old fawn here, crying for it's mother. I was so relieved when she showed up to collect him. I just saw your comment today, so please excuse my 4 day lapse. I appreciate you taking the time to write and comment. I LOVE what I do, and I LOVE the animal souls so much!!

Kathleen, Love your Inspired style!...WELCOME TO FAA!! You have three STUNNING entries, this among my favorites of your portfolio. I have always loved whitetail deer and I would babysit the fawns in the backyard while their moms would graze thru the morning. I swear, they would come by as I had morning tea, look me straight in the eye, drop off and would do the same around one in the afternoon for pickup with a loose friendly tail wag and bound back into the thick wood brush. This little one tugs at my heArtstrings! .ENCHANTING! Will revisit Sunday! LF
